OpenDie Region ist reich an Flur- und Kleindenkmälern, die als religiöse Wegbegleiter und als Andachtsstätten von der tiefen Frömmigkeit der Bevölkerung zeugen. Diese Rundwanderung führt vorbei an zahlreichen Weg- und Hofkreuzen, Bildstöcken und Kapellen.

Der Kapellenweg hat seinen Ausgangspunktbei der Übersichtstafel im Schmankerlpark. Bis Kopfing-Dorf orientiert sich der Weg an den Wegweisern des Marterlweges. Dann zweigt der Weg rechts ab. Der Weg kann nur zu Fuß bewältigt werden.
