The wine has thrived here for centuries to a particularly fine drop. The East Styrian Roman Wine Route (Oststeirische Römerweinstraße) runs in the heart of East Styria from Gleisdorf via Hartberg back to the thermal region of Styria to Bad Waltersdorf.
